Fort Payne Man Assaulted Outside Of Ol Tymers Restaurant

A Fort Payne man sustained injuries to his legs after apparently being pinned against a Fort Payne Business last Friday.

According to a News Release from Fort Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum – officers received a report of an Assault occurring at Ol’Tymers Restaurant.

Officers arrived on scene to find victim, 29 year old Lionel Tyrone Williams, , inside his vehicle. Williams told officers that when he came outside of the Restaurant a white Ford Expedition drove into him and pinned him against a brick wall.

The vehicle fled the scene.

Williams was transported to Gadsden Regional for leg injuries. Extensive damage was done to the building.

The driver has been identified as 25 year old Brandon Alexander Chandler of Fort Payne. The investigation continues with charges forthcoming.
