Four Arrested in Connection with Gadsden Burglaries

FourFour Gadsden residents are now in custody in connection with a string of burglaries taking place at Snead Ag Supply on West Meighan Boulevard.

Investigators first began looking into the case back on August 2nd, identifying three men through the use of the store’s video surveillance equipment; a variety of items were taken during that break-in and four chainsaws were stolen during an August 29th break-in.

Those arrested included 29 year old Terrell Dudley; 45 year old Alex Christopher Howard; 34 year old Charlie Garrard Sawyer; and 43 year old Sandy Phillips.

Dudley was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 1st Degree; Howard was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree; Sawyer was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree; and Phillips was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree

The total value of the items recovered is estimated at around $7,000.

Police say they’re still searching for a white male in connection with the August 2nd break-in and are continuing to look for additional stolen merchandise – including weed trimmers and generators.
