Four Arrested in Floyd County Drug Bust

Rome Drug Quad 1Four people have been arrested by the Rome Floyd Metro Task Force on drug charges.

Police say Kimberly Dawn Matthews, age 42, of Rome, had suspected meth inside her purse and a glass pipe with black residue in a glasses container. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

27 year old Stanford Bernard Sellers Jr. of Rome, was found to have a suspected drug inside his shoe, and he was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

Eugene Douglas Gresham, age 46, who lives at the residence where the drug bust occurred, had a digital scale in a bedroom with residue believed to be methamphetamine; as a result, he was charged with possession of methamphetamine a probation violation and possession of drug related objects.

Police also say that Ginger Leigh Trammel, age 46, had suspected methamphetamine inside her purse along with a suspected narcotic; she was charged with the unlawful possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, and with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
