Four people were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County Tuesday after Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office and the Centre Police Department, executed a search warrant at the location on Sherry Drive in Centre.

Melvin McElrath, age 48; Bobbie Faye Underwood age 41; Brittany Jeanette Underwood age 24 and Rhonda Black McGee, 44 – all of Centre were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Bobbie Underwood was additionally charged with the Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance.

No additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding the arrest has yet been made available.

All four individuals were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center, between 6:00 and 7:00pm – where they remain awaiting setting of bond.
