A four wheeler accident occurring over the weekend in DeKalb County, injured two teenage girls and claimed the life of a ten year old boy.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris stated that the wreck took place Saturday, on County Road 391, fatally injuring Thomas Brown of Cross Creek and seriously injuring Haley Brown of Geraldine age 14, and an as yet unnamed 13 year old from the Asbury community.
The 13 year old, who was listed in critical condition, was air-lifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment; meanwhile 14 year old Haley Brown was taken by DeKalb Ambulance Service to the same facility.
At last report, both girls remained in serious condition.
That accident remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
