Makenzie Green Fundraiser 2

A Centre Middle School 5th Grader is adding her own “spin” on raising money for the American Cancer Society.

Eleven year old MaKenzie Green is selling “Friends Don’t Let Friends Fight Cancer Alone” tee-shirts with all proceeds going to her Relay for Life team and Camp Smile-A-Mile.

As a seven year survivor of a Stage IV Wilms’ Tumor, MaKenzie and her family are well aware of how crucial research money is in finding a cure and establishing the most beneficial treatment options for cancer.

Each year, Relay for Life teams work together to raise research money for the American Cancer Society and the need for funding never ends.

Smile a Mile 1Camp Smile-a-Mile is an organization whose mission is to provide challenging and unforgettable recreational and educational experiences for young cancer patients at no cost to their families.

Camp Smile-a-Mile strives to provide these patients, family members and cancer survivors with avenues for fellowship and friendship to help them cope with the disease thus the tee-shirt slogan “Friends Don’t Let Friends Fight Cancer Alone”.

These Tee-shirts are available for $12.00 each – if shipped there will be an additional shipping & handling charge.
