An Etowah County man has been arrested in connection with an alleged rape occurring last Friday, February 24th in East Gadsden.
According to Sergeant John Hallman, Melvin Ray Morgan, age 51, is currently lodged in the Etowah County Detention Center in connection with the incident.
Bond has been set at $25,000. The victim is reportedly an adult.
No additional information is being released at this time.
