Kate Falcon 4Gadsden native Kate Falcon has auditioned for “The Voice”, which airs on the NBC network Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00.

Falcon has performed across the southeast at events such as Riverfest in Gadsden – and in Centre on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee, as part of the Lyrics on the Lawn concert series.

Falcon gained widespread notoriety when she became the opening act for Travis Tritt, after winning a competition four years ago. In 2012, she joined Martina McBride onstage at the Ryman Auditorium for a duet of the song “Anyway.”

It hasn’t been confirmed if Falcon’s audition will be aired this week – however fans, family members and friends are sure to be tuned in to see what happens.
