Gadsden Police are investigating a reported shooting incident.

This past Friday, June 7th at around 11:38 pm, a 28 year old man told police someone shot into his residence in the 400 block of North 9th Street.

The victim said he was outside his residence, next to his vehicle, when he saw a black Chevy S10 Pickup pull up in front.

He said he heard about 6 to 8 gunshots and then watched the truck leave towards Harvey Street.

He man said his residence was occupied by two friends at the time of the incident.

Police are investigating the reported robbery of the Arby’s Restaurant on Rainbow Drive in Gadsden.

Employees said a man wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun entered the building through a rear door, jumped over the counter, ran to the back of the store and demanded that someone open the safe.

After that he took money out of the registers and left out of the same door he entered.

One of the employees saw the man get inside a blue PT Cruiser driven by a white female.

The robber, who escaped with $260, is described as a black male 5’8” tall and weighing 200 lbs.

He was wearing dark clothing and had dreadlocks.
