A single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a Jacksonville teenager on Tuesday morning.
Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown told the Anniston Star, that Steven Huddleston, age 17, died at the scene of the crash which took place at around 11:15am, near the intersection of Williams Road and Cobb Road.
Huddleston was reportedly driving a 2005 Honda Accord, which left the roadway and then overturned. The report indicated the victim was thrown from the car and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
Huddleston – a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School – was attending classes at Gadsden State Community College.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
