Gadsden Police have arrested a woman on a charge of Attempted Murder following a stabbing in connection with a domestic dispute occurring last Friday at Gateway Village in the 1400 block of Walnut Street.
Officers responding to that domestic disturbance call arrived to find the 26 year old man lying in the doorway with a stab wound to the upper left side of his chest; 25 year old Crystal Dobbs was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held without bond.
Dobbs reportedly told police she stabbed the man after he had “punched” her.
