A Gadsden woman was fatally injured in a Sunday afternoon accident near Mountainboro.
Etowah County Coroner Michael Head, said 36 year old Lisa Marie Lemons was killed, when a Yamaha V Star motorcycle she was riding with her husband collided with a Nissan Xterra.
That crash took place on 431 North, at 2:50pm, with Lemons being pronounced dead at the scene; her husband was air-lifted to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The body of the victim has been sent to Huntsville for an autopsy.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
