An Etowah County woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Cherokee County over the weekend.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that wreck occurred at 3:40pm Sunday on Alabama 9, approximately five miles south of Centre.
The driver of the vehicle, a 2004 Chrysler was identified as 25 year old Brandi Hawkins of a Gadsden address; she was listed on the report as being injured; however the extent of those injuries wasn’t noted; it was noted that she was wearing her seatbelt at the time that wreck took place.
That accident remains under investigation.
