Georgia Man Facing a Number of Drug Charges

A Menlo Georgia man wound up in jail after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call at the Southeast Credit Union in Trion last week.

The man, identified as Rodney Galloway refused to leave the property because, according to the deputy’s report – he believed money was supposed to be deposited into his account from Africa. Since there was no such record of any deposit being made – Galloway became upset with the credit union.

After running the man’s driver’s license, the deputy discovered that the license had actually been suspended due to a DUI charge.

A consent search of the vehicle also tuned up a backpack containing suspected marijuana in addition to several different prescription drugs including methadone and oxycodone.

Galloway was charged with several violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.
