On Tuesday (August 6th), the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce held their ribbon-cutting ceremony at the shop, which is located on the Chestnut Bypass in Centre, and WEIS Radio spoke with owner Sam Griggs about what they have to offer, and if this is something which had been in the works for some time now – and where the name came from. Raven’s Place is a family business with plans to expand their line of items in the future; Sam told us that in future the menu will hopefully include Panini’s and flat bread sandwiches, and possibly soup and salads.
The dining room can also be expanded as the business continues to grow over time.
Raven’s Place will be open, beginning Monday, August 12th – from 7:00am – 6:00pm weekdays and 7:00am – 2:00pm Saturdays. Raven’s Place also has FREE WIFI.
Watch for their official grand opening coming Monday, August 19th.
