A large crowd gathered in Centre on Monday as members of the local GOP delegation celebrated the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new Cherokee County Republican Headquarters at 499 Chestnut Bypass in Centre.

Among those in attendance were the local candidates, some running opposed and others running unopposed in addition to State Senator Phil Williams.

The platform gave candidates an opportunity to speak with constituents about the importance of the upcoming November election not just from a local standpoint but nationwide.

Among those locally that attended were Cherokee County Probate Judge Kirk Day, Cherokee County Superintendant of Education Mitchell Guice, Commissioners Randy Jones and Marcie Foster, District Court Judge Wes Mobley, Revenue Commissioner Dustin St. Clair, School Board Member Brian Jennings and Derrick Wheeler and Kathy Mobbs who are both Candidates for School Board.

The Cherokee County Republican Party works to promote conservative values, recruit candidates, and support Republican candidates and elected officials.

Those that are interested in learning more about the local delegation or if you would like to get yard signs for any of the candidates local or nationally you are encouraged to contact the local party or stop by their new location, again that address is 499 Chestnut Bypass next door to Promise Land Worship Center.
