GSCC Singers plan Christmas tour

The Gadsden State Community College Singers and A Cappella Choir will be singing at many community events and churches during its 2016 Christmas Tour.

The singers will kick-off the tour at 6:00pm this Sunday, November 27th, at College Heights Baptist Church. They are under the direction of J.T. Harrell.

Other performance dates are:

Nov. 29 – 6 p.m. Regency Pointe Tree Lighting

Dec. 1 – 11 a.m. at Gadsden Greeters at Christ Central Methodist Church

Dec. 2 – 6 p.m. at the City of Gadsden’s First Friday Tree Lighting

Dec. 4 – 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Glencoe

Dec. 7 – at Gadsden Civitan Club meeting at Gadsden State’s Cafeteria

Dec. 8 – Noon at the Gadsden Rotary Club at the Gadsden Country Club

Dec. 11 – 6 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Leesburg

Dec. 14 – Noon at the Women’s Executive Network gathering at Classic on Noble in Anniston

Dec. 15 – 6 p.m. at 21 Supper Club

Dec. 19 – 6 p.m. at Gadsden State’s Fall Commencement at Wallace Hall

The group consists of 26 students who study voice in addition to their various collegiate majors.

The singers include: Ciannia Bynum, Cody Neely, Tabitha Rinault (Centre); Jacob Cleveland, Dannah Daugherty, Morgan Ewing, Tommie Goggins, Mary Ganzales, Bethany Gunter, Taylor Hays, Anna Lett, Millicent Nordgren, Javen Radney, Joseph Thomas, Kristin Thompson, Autumn Thrower, Stephen Watkins, Timothy Watkins, Adrian Willis (Gadsden); Sarah Holt, Michael Ridgeway (Rainbow City); Aaron Leonard, Alexander Wilson (Weaver); Jacob Callahan, Alisia Simmons (Saks) and Victoria White (White Plains).
