Here’s a Thought – Next Time, Just Ask For Help. Firefighters Are Good Folks.

Chattooga County, Georgia docket records show that two Alabama residents were arrested for stealing a gas can from the Menlo Fire Department.

According to reports around 7:30pm Tuesday, a red, five-gallon can filled with gasoline was taken from inside a tool box on the back of one of the firefighters personal trucks while the firefighters were having a meeting. An eyewitness was involved in helping deputies investigate the incident.

A Rainsville woman, Ashley Beam, age 23 was apparently the primary offender and she was subsequently arrested.  40 year old Ft. Payne resident Christopher Berry was also arrested in connection with the incident, but reports do not state specifically how he was involved.  A 31 year old Ft. Payne man was listed as a third suspect but at this point he doesn’t appear to have been arrested in connection with the incident.
