If You Owe A Deliquent Sewer Bill In Cedar Bluff, You May Want To Pay Up?

 

Do you have an outstanding, delinquent sewer account with the Cedar Bluff Utility Board; if so you may want to consider settling it up soon.

During the board’s regular meeting on Tuesday – members voted, at the suggestion of Board Attorney Al Shumaker, to give those who fall under this category 30 days to settle their bill, if after the 30 days the account is still not settled, the Utility Board will disconnect your sewer line until the bill is paid in full.

In other business, the board welcomed its newest member, Cedar Bluff Town Councilwoman Billie Burkhalter who was recently appointed to fill the unexpired term previously held by Mike Howard.

The Board also approved the Financial Reports as presented by the Board Treasurer Linda Picklesiemer which included the approval of advertisement in the upcoming Cedar Bluff High School Football Program.

Also following some lengthy discussion, the board voted to take money from an account allocated for certain expenditures to pay invoices due on the new shop and to reimburse the general Fund for invoices paid from the General Fund.

Board members also approved the monthly report as presented by Manager Jeff Harrell, the board also voted to send a letter to the individuals responsible for damage to a fence owned by the Utility Board informing them that they will be filing a claim with Cedar Bluff Municipal Court to have them pay for the repair to the fence.
