"Jack Reacher" and "Ouija" Sequels; "A Madea Halloween" Among Weekend's New Films

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back — Tom Cruise reprises the titular role from the 2012 original. In this sequel, Jack tries to prove the innocence of the Army major who leads his old investigative unit and is accused of treason. Cobie Smulders also stars in the movie, which is based on the Lee Child book of the same name. Rated PG-13.

Ouija: Origin of Evil — In 1965 Los Angeles, a young girl is possessed by a spirit, and her family tries to save her from it. This is a sequel to the 2014 horror hit based on the spirit board. Rated PG-13.

Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween — Tyler Perry brings Madea back to the big screen. This time, the hilarious elderly woman is haunted by ghosts and more during Halloween time. Rated PG-13.

Keeping Up with the Joneses —  A suburban couple welcome new neighbors — the Joneses — who turn out to be covert operatives. Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot star. Rated PG-13.
