“Jackie” and “Incarnate” Among This Weekend's New Films

Natalie Portman in “Jackie”; Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation(NEW YORK) — Here’s a look at the new movies opening nationwide Friday:

* Jackie — Natalie Portman stars as first lady Jacqueline Kennedy who, in the wake of husband President John F. Kennedy’s assasination, must deal with her grief, and that of her children, while examining her husband’s legacy. Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Crudup and John Hurt also star. Jackie opens in limited release only.  Rated R.

* Incarnate — This horror thriller from the producers of InsidiousParanormal and The Purge stars Aaron Eckhart as an unconventional exorcist with the ability to enter the subconscious minds of the possessed. However, he meets his match when he’s asked to help an innocent 11-year-old boy — Gotham‘s David Mazouz — possessed by a powerful demon from his past. Game of Thrones actress Carice van Houten also stars. Rated PG-13.
