Natives of Kansas, the Jared Daniels Band first got their start in Manhattan, KS – where they all were students at Kansas State University.
Manhattan, a hot spot for Texas and Red Dirt Country, gave Jared Daniels the opportunity to see many artists such as Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and Randy Rogers just to name a few. “I wanted to be on that stage. They all looked like they were having a great time creating music and creating an atmosphere that their fans loved” says Daniels.
In the spring of 2012 they released their first professionally recorded EP that was recorded in Nashville, TN.
The EP takes you on an emotional ride and surely will make the listener feel something. Whether it’s from falling in love, reliving your college days to heartbreak and growing up in a small town.
They’re songs you can believe in. Why? Because they are true. “It’s so much more personal and intimate writing and singing about a something I lived through or something someone I know has. I think that’s what people want to hear, something they can truly relate to.” says Daniels.
It doesn’t just stop with the release of the EP. The members of The Jared Daniels Band are slowly becoming seasoned veterans of the road. Touring the past 3 years with 300 dates and 10 states to add. “Being on the road is tough at times but, we try to bring an exciting show to add to the songs. It’s about going out, having fun and telling our story.”
The Jared Daniels Band looks to build off of their latest EP and they’re currently planning for the release of more in the near future.
