According to a news report from WAFF TV48, a judge has denied requests for a bond reduction for a man who stands accused of trying to solicit sex from a teenager on-line. His bond remains at $30,000. 31 year old Daniel Nixon – a DeKalb County resident and former employee with the Alabama Department of Transportation – last week had entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes.
Nixon has a trial date of August 11th.
