Law Enforcement Officials are investigating the theft of what is being referred to as a “large amount of prescription drugs” from a Ft Payne pharmacy last weekend. Sunday (February 12th), the owner of C & H Drug reported a burglary at their Gault Avenue North location. Entry had apparently been gained by prying open the back door to the business.
According to Ft Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum the person, or persons responsible caused a great deal of damage to the building and to equipment inside. An undisclosed amount of money was also taken during the incident.
