Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies have arrested a Leesburg man on several charges – including rape.
According to information posted on the Sheriff’s Office website, John Wister Nickles, age 21 was arrested and charged with Rape 2nd Degree, Sodomy 2nd Degree and Interfering with Custody.
Nickles was taken into custody and booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 4:00pm Monday – where he remains without bond.
No additional information regarding the case has yet been released.
