A Cherokee County woman was arrested by Leesburg Police on several drug charges, in the early morning hours of Sunday.
Angel Michelle Slayton, age 29 from Leesburg was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, in addition to Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.
She was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 4:00am Sunday – where she remains awaiting setting of bond.
