Mable Ondean Bowman, age 97 of Leesburg, passed away Monday, September 26th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 12 PM Wednesday, September 28th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Bankson officiating; burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Survivors include daughter, Joyce Lynn (Randall) Keener of Slackland; granddaughter, Lori Whaley of Slackland; great grandchildren, Dru Handy, DaxHandy, Anna Cate Whaley; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse E. Bowman; brother, Raymond Bobo; sisters, Lucille Blackwell, Grace Lankford.
Mrs. Bowman was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late David W. and Lilly Higginbotham Bobo and was a member of Pleasant Valley #2 Baptist Church.
