A 24 year old resident of Attalla, Brett Dudley Fain, has been arrested in connection with a recent theft occurring in Etowah County.
He stands accused of taking a number of items from a home on Highway 11 South in Attalla, including a Stihl chainsaw, a Craftsman grinder, cordless skilsaw, cordless drill, jigsaw, and a rechargeable battery.
Several of the items were soon found in an area pawn shop.
Fain confessed to investigators that he took the items and pawned them.
He has been charged with Theft of Property 3rd Degree, which is a felony, and is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center.
