The investigation continues into the Thursday morning death of a man in Anniston.
Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown said that it appears that the male victim, believed to be in his mid-30’s was struck and killed by a train at the intersection on North Hunter Street at around 9:00am.
Brown said that the individual – a white male – was walking on the tracks when the incident occurred – adding, that at this time they still don’t know if it was an accident or a deliberate act.
The man has yet to be identified.
