According to Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel, the Public Information Officer with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency an accident on I-20 claimed the life of a 36 year old Cropwell man during the early morning hours of Sunday.
Reports indicate that 36 year old Paul Edward Johnston was crossing I-20, when he was hit by a 2010 Infiniti; the driver of the vehicle wasn’t hurt and did remain at the scene.
The incident, which happened just inside the city limits of Lincoln at 4:10am remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
