It was a much more subdued Centre City Council meeting Tuesday night.
A stark contrast to the last meeting, which saw members of the council arguing over various issues from the alcohol tax to the funding of scoreboard clocks at the Cherokee County High School football stadium.
Mayor Tony Wilkie apologized to the media and others who were in attendance at the last meeting and said it will not happen again.
Councilman Glenn Chandler also issued an apology.
Tuesday’s meeting then proceeded in a calm and orderly manner.
