A member of the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit, Jamie Grant, is recovering from an auto accident with an 18 wheeler Thursday night.
The crash took place just after 7:00pm at the intersection of Highway 431 and Alabama 77 – he was transported from the scene to a Gadsden area hospital where he’s currently listed in stable condition. The driver of the 18 wheeler wasn’t seriously injured.
The cause of that accident is under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
