Mrs. Evelyn Juanita Sherbert age 82 of Collinsville passed away Sunday October 26th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday October 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendell Dutton officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery # 2. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers: Steve Shankles, Jacob Petty, Chris Masters, Scott Shankles, Mark Petty, and Bradley Shankles.

Honorary Pallbearers: Fred Shankles, Jackie Myers, Members of the Homebound Ministry at Black Creek Baptist Church, Employees of DeKalb Home Health, Dr. Ryan Rainer and staff of Cherokee Medical Center.

Survivors include her Daughter; Teresa (Steve) Shankles of Collinsville; Grandson, Jacob Petty; great-granddaughter, Emily Petty; step grandchildren, Bradley Shankles and Jessica Shankles; special friends; Jimmie Masters, Joyce Garrett, Louise Hibbs, Bill Williamson.

Mrs. Sherbert was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Henry and Idell Hicks Hefner, was retired from the Dekalb County School System and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church #2.
