Michael Webster Grindle

Michael Webster Grindle, 60, of Centre Alabama, passed away on May 24,2017 peacefully in his home surrounded by those who loved him.

Michael’s wishes were to be cremated and for a memorial to be planned in his honor. Information regarding this memorial will be finalized at a later time by the family.

Michael, aka Crazy Mike or Mikey, was born in Floyd County Georgia to his mother, Tootsie, and his father, Emmett William Grindle, on February 1st, 1957. He went to school at East Rome and he worked as a truck driver for many years. He was a very charming man with a sense of humor that no one could resist. Michael married DeAnna Brumbelow on December 17th, 1983 in Ringo Georgia and together they enjoyed a very unforgettable 34 years together.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Emmett William Grindle, his brother, Randy Grindle, and his grandparents, Mack and Emma Grindle and Homer and Evie Lou Colquitt.

Michael is survived by his wife, DeAnna, his son and daughter-in-law, Seth and Jessie Grindle, two grandchildren, Devan and Juleigha,a very special great niece, Moe Moe, his mother, Tootsie, and Tommy Hogwood of Rome, his in-laws, Waymon and ReNondaBrumbelow of Centre, his brother, DarryalGrindle of Rome, his sisters and brother-in-laws, Judy and Wayne Otting of Summerville, Deborah Johnson and Wayne Blankenship of Chatsworth, his brother-in-law, Craig Brumbelow and Lottie of Centre, Brett and Lisa Brumbelow of Rome, Clint Brumbelow of Centre, nieces and nephews, Brian and Amanda Otting, Chris Otting, Jason and Sadie Otting, Christie Wilkerson and Ray Fowler, Jennifer Allmon, Cheryl and Wally Mason, Tony Grindle, Amber Grindle, Patricia Laschower, and several great nieces and nephews.

Michael loved everyone and everyone loved him.
