Michelle Reynolds’ Back in Court on Tuesday

ReynoldsA woman currently serving a 20 year sentence in connection with the death of her husband a decade ago – will be back in Floyd County Superior Court on Tuesday (September 16th).

Michelle Reynolds is asking that her sentence be modified, so that her children can visit her in prison.

According to a motion filed on August 11th by Reynolds’ attorney, the fact that she can’t be visited by her children is not only a hardship for her, but a hardship for the children as well.

Reynolds isn’t eligible for parole until 2023.

Reynolds’ co-defendant, Scotty Harper, is serving a life sentence – without the possibility of parole – on a murder charge in connection with the stabbing death of Thad Reynolds in July of 2004.
