A motorcyclist was killed in a Friday afternoon collision with a vehicle on Alabama 202 in Calhoun County. According to the Anniston Star, 31 year old Christopher Lee Akins of Eastaboga was pronounced dead at the scene, near the intersection with Lloyd Street, at around 3:30 p.m.
The driver of the second vehicle and two passengers were transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center for unspecified injuries.
