Allen Shook, age 69 of Gaylesville, passed away Saturday, February 25th at his residence.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Wednesday, March 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Munson and Bro. Kirby Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in Needmore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Lennis Emileen Lee Shook; two sons, Chris Shook and Jonathan Shook, both of Gaylesville; brother, Wayne Shook of Cartersville, GA; sisters, Ruth Waters of Cassville, GA., and Betty Bagley of Cassville, GA; 2 grandchildren, Logan Shook and Danielle Shook.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Jarrett and one grandson, Janson Shook.

Mr. Shook was a native of Cartersville, GA, the son of the late James Vernie and Margie Jane Roberson Shook, was a meat cutter and meat market Supervisor and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Shook served in the U.S. Army where he fought in the Vietnam War.
