Mr. Carl Allen Sisson, age 68 of Piedmont, passed away on Thursday, July 2nd at the VA Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Monday, July 6th at Mountain Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Rome, GA, with the Rev. Roy Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 P.M. Monday at Church.
Pallbearers include: James House, Randy Whitlock, Steve Goose, Steve Reece, Eddie Gosnell and Allen Busby. Honorary pallbearers are members of Mountain Springs United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his fiancée, Betty Busby; daughters, Michelle Burns of Metter, GA, Sandee House of Centre, Melody Moses of Brandenburg, KY; brother, Dennis Busby of Rockmart, GA, John Clouatre; sisters, Pat Googe of Rome, GA, Brenda Brown, Marie Backers, and Jewell Smith all from Lindale, GA; son, Stevie Reece of Lindale, GA; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his sister, Dale Sisson and special friend, Darrell Gary.
Mr. Sisson was a native of Montgomery, AL, the son of the late Leonard Sisson and Florence Clouatre and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
