Mr. Carlton “Frosty” Fields age 71 of Leesburg, passed away Sunday April 13 in a Rome, GA Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 3 PM Tuesday April 15 in Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Wells officiating, burial will follow in Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P.M. Tuesday.

Mr. Fields was a native of Cleveland, Georgia, son of the late William Anson and Carrie Burnette Fields, was a dispatcher and retired Textile worker. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Gossett Fields, Sons, Craig (Rebecca) Fields, Leesburg, Chad (Christy) Freeman, Gadsden, Kevin (Carrie) Hunter, Centre, Daughters, Shelia (John) Muller, Gadsden, Christie (Jimmy) Waits, Cedar Bluff, Keri (Tim) Gresham, Armuchee, GA, Brothers , J.C. Fields, Clarkston, Ga., Eugene Fields, Cleveland, GA, Waymon Fields, Cleveland, Ga., Special Granddaughter, Alexis Waits, Special Grandson, Sawyer Charles Lee Gresham, Special Grandson and Great Granddaughter Sky Muller and Arianah Gross; 14 grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Brother, Ollie R. Fields and Sister, Bertha May Fields.
