Mr. Clarence Harold McElrath age 66 of Centre passed away Saturday July 23rd at his residence.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Wednesday July27th at New Bethel United Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Larry Davis Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM Wednesday.
Pallbearers include Ernest Chambers, Greg Walker, Ronald Rooks,O’Dezi Williams, Charles McElrath, Terry McElrath and Rodney Johnson.
Flower Girls include: Dale Reese, April Reese, Rosie Miller, Earlene Stubbs, Teresa Johnson, and Priscilla Riggins.
Mr. McElrath is survived by his wife; Barbara A. Johnson McElrath, sons; Nicoli McElrath of Calhoun, GA, Jarrod Simpson of Perry, GA, daughters; Shauneka McElrath of Calhoun, GA, Chaka McElrath of Centre, step-Children; Josh, Rodney, and Kiera Johnson, brothers; Mack McElrath of Childersburg, AL, Charles McElrath of Centre, Terry McElrath, P.C. Chambers both of Savannah, GA, sisters; Helen Walker of Centre, Renea Moten of Cedar Bluff, Lisa Barrington of Atlanta, and 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special friends; Lonnie and Joe Akers, Christine Wright.
Clarence was preceded in death by his brother Willie James McElrath.
Mr. McElrath was a native of Cherokee County the son of the late Mack and Mary Barrington McElrath and was of the Methodist faith.
