Mr. Darrell Roberts age 69 of Leesburg passed away Thursday July 16th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday July 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Bankson officiating, burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Friday.
Pallbearers include Craig Chandler, Jonathan Hightower, Brandy Pierce, Gary Daniel, Steve Oliver and Mike Hightower.
Survivors include wife, Sandra Hightower Roberts of Leesburg; sons, Kris (Charity) Roberts of Gadsden; daughters, Lindsey (Jack) Dupree of Gadsden and Jillian (Brian Ball) Roberts of Leesburg; brothers, Danny Roberts of Leesburg and George Roberts of Odenville; sisters, Linda Drake of Leesburg, Melissa Roberts of Leesburg, six Grandchildren, Hayden and Clayton Roberts, Katie, Auburn, Tinsley and Jaxon Dupree, Ethan and Rylin Ball and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his Sister Martha Hare.
Mr. Roberts was a native of Etowah County and the son of the late Hugh Abner and Katie Frances Hale Roberts.
