Mr. Donald Fay Burkhalter, age 84 of Cedar Bluff passed away on Thursday Oct. 20 in a Birmingham Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Sunday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 P.M. Sunday.

Mr.Burkhalter is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Cartlidge Burkhalter, Daughter, Donna (Jason) Cobb of Cedar Bluff, Grandsons, Tyler Cobb and Hunter Cobb and several Nieces and nephews.
He was a native of Cherokee County, son of the late Fay and Ennis Ringer Burkhalter, was a retired Shop Foreman with the Alabama State Highway Department and a member of Cedar Bluff 1stUnited Methodist Church. He was a 50 year Member of Cedar Bluff Masonic Lodge andwas a veteran of the Korean War.
