Mr. Doyal “Pete” Tillery, age 88 of Leesburg passed away Friday, November 14th at Cherokee Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Sunday, November 16th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kyle Bryan and Rev. Roy Daugherty officiating; burial will follow in Cedar Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Sunday.
Pallbearers will be nephews.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Neyman Tillery; step-daughter, Malba (Jimmy) Lee of Leesburg; chosen grandchildren, Pamela (Brian) Gilliland of Leesburg, Rhonda (Charlie) Lee of Leesburg; chosen great grandchildren, Austin (Brittany) Lee, Tory Lee, August Gilliland, Damion Lee; chosen great great grandson, Tyde Lee; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Tillery was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late John Millard and Ethel Wilson Tillery, was retired from Cherokee Electric Coop as a supervisor and a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cedar Hill United Methodist Church.
