Mr. James “Jimbo” Mackey age 75 passed away Friday December 12th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2: PM Saturday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Mackey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Lookout Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12: PM until the hour of the service.
Pallbearers are Neil Mackey, Lance Mackey, Eric Mackey, Brian Mackey, Dennis Mackey, Ryan Wade, Donald Thomas, and Eddie Williams.
Mr. Mackey is survived by his wife Lois Lucille Gullatt Mackey, Son; Ricky (Lisa) Mackey, Daughter; Melissa ( Larry Wayne) McCullough both of Sand Rock, Brothers; Jack (Barbara) Mackey Sr., Bud (Sandra) Mackey Sr., Grandchildren; Jessica Smith, Leslie Mackey, Meagan McCullough, Madison McCullough, several Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Mackey was a native of Cherokee County the Son of the late Rufus and Bonnie Farmer Mackey. He was retired from Goodyear Tire Manufacturing and served on the Cherokee County Board of Education for 12 years.
