Mr. Kenny Dodd, 59 of Centre, passed away Tuesday July 21st at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday July 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Billy Joe Baker and Rev. Leon Smith officiating, burial will follow in Welcome Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Thursday.
Pallbearers include Ray Coheley, Todd Yarbrough, Keith Dean, Johnny Alverson, Terry Young and David Puckett.
Survivors include sons, Kody (Melissa) Dodd of Centre, Dillon (Amanda) Dodd of Centre and Brandy (Rebecca) Pierce of Leesburg; mother, Mary George Dodd of Leesburg; brothers, Jeffrey Allen Dodd and Danny Charles Dodd both of Leesburg; grandchildren Kaitlin and Kansas Corbin; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dodd was preceded in death by his wife,Sandie Dodd and sister, Mary Bates.
Mr. Dodd was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Charlie Dodd. He was owner of Dodd Construction, Inc. and Weiss Lake septic service and of the Baptist faith.
