Mr. Michael Lee “Mike” Robertson age 52 of Centre passed away Saturday November 28th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday December 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry, Rev. Terry Hawkins and Ronnie Rogers officiating, burial will follow in Union Hill (Needmore) Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday.
Pallbearers include Ben Morris, Jamie Gossett, Tony Johnson, John Swain, Jimmy Gossett and Tyler Silver. Honorary Pallbearers include Roy Latty, R.J. Johnson, Billy Williams, Len Hogan, Jay Jordan, Tony O’Neal, San Ray and Matthew Gossett.
Survivors include wifeDedra Lyons Robertson of Centre; sons, Neil (Jennifer) Golden of Centre, Ben (Cherish) Morris of Gaylesville and Lee Robertson of Jacksonville; daughters, Bridgett Duke of Rome, Ga., Hollie (Aaron) Wilson of Rome, Ga. and Jennie (Lance) McCullough of Gaylesville; brother, Robert Robertson of Gaylesville; sisters, Dianne (Thomas) Boyd of Cedar Bluff, Shirley Moore of Cedar Bluff, Patricia Gossett of Centre, Juanita (Larry) Sutton of Cedar Bluff and Donna Abernathy; 6 Grandchildren; special daddy Ronnie Rogers; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Grace and sister, Gloria Jean Bridges.
Mr. Robertson was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Robert Lee and Lula Brewster Robertson. He was a plumber and of the Baptist faith.
