Mr. Michael Shane Pearsey age 34 of Centre passed away Sunday August 17th at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Pearsey will be 3 PM Thursday August 21st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. Marion Barry officiating, burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Wednesday.
Pallbearers include John Nickles, Patrick Canada, Brad Motes, Jason Cline, Michael Sprayberry, Wes Gilcrest and Jareth Crowe. Honorary Pallbearers are members of Gadsden Christian Fellowship Church.
Mr. Pearsey is survived by his daughter, Samantha Pearsey of Centre: father, Lewis Pearsey of Centre: step-mother, Patricia Sprayberry of Centre: sisters, Betty Ann Armstrong and Jan Pearsey: 5 step-brothers: 2 step-sisters: special friends, Jareth and Misty Crowe and Stacey Lawder: God son, Lil’ Jareth Crowe: niece, Cheltzey Armstrong: several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Garmon Pearsey.
Mr. Pearsey is a native of Cherokee County and a member of the Gadsden Christian Fellowship Church.
