Mr. Russell David Bain, age 65 of Rome, GA, passed away Friday, February 27th at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Lodge officiating; The family will receive friends from 5 until 8:PM Sunday.
Pallbearers include Michael Bain, Joshua Bain, Chad Bain, Brad Walker, Nathan Scott, Kevin Bain. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug Couey, Bob Ogletree, David Terrell, Leon Parks, Jim Dickinson and Dan Reeverts.
Survivors include wife, Nancy Willerson Bain; daughters, Jennifer (Mac) Sawyer of Centre, Alison (Patrick) Martin of Kenesaw, GA, Sabrina (Gianluca) Grioni of Mission Viego, CA, Staci Chaffin of Armuchee, GA.; brothers, Robert Bain of Chattanooga, TN, Charles Bain of Cedar Bluff, Dale Bain of Lyerly, GA; sisters, Janet Richardson of Centre, Debra Scott of Centre; grandchildren, Nicholas & Mark Sawyer, Tyler & Jackson Martin, Mia & Emma Grioni and Dakota Chaffin; several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Bain was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Howard Russell and Haynie Sitton Bain, was a timber dealer and Real Estate investor, was a member of Floyd County Wildlife Club, an avid hunter & outdoorsman, a sponsor of Trout Unlimited and was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
