Mrs. Ada Lavon Gentry

Mrs. Ada Lavon Gentry, age 72 of Gaylesville passed away Friday January 23rd at Dekalb BMC.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday January 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Williams, Rev. Sanford DeBerry and Rev. Johnny Hartline, burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday.

Pallbearers include; Adam Hudgins, Michael Helms, Hayden Williams, Hunter Williams, Joe Hartline, Austin Hartline.

Survivors include: husband, J.B. Gentry, Gaylesville, Son, Bud McCullough, Gaylesville, daughters, Jackie McCullough, Gaylesville, Sarah (Darrell) Pierce, Cedar Bluff, step-daughters, Debbie Burk, Gaylesville, Wanda (Tim) Wilson, Summerville, brothers, Robert (Judy) Hartline, Gaylesville, David (Pat) Hartline, Gaylesville, Johnny (Karen) Hartline, Gaylesville, Tommy (Pam) Hartline, Valley Head, sisters, Vester (Jr.) McCullough, Gaylesville, Carolyn (Donald) Payne, Gaylesville, brothers and sisters-in law, Gene Todd, Glen Wilbanks, Danny Chambling, Kathy Hartline, Glenda Hartline, 15 Grandchildren, 3 Great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by a husband, Charles McCullough, son, Jackie Lynn McCullough, brothers, James and Leroy Hartline, sisters, Mary Todd, Rachel Chambling, and Sandra Wilbanks. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Maude Townsend Hartline, a native of Cherokee County and a Member of Liberty Baptist Church, and was retired from Mohawk Industries.
