Mrs. Betty Hill, age 82 of Centre passed away Saturday October 25th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 3:PM Monday, October 27th at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Monday, at the church.

Pallbearers include Patrick Walker, Mark Loyd, Steve Hill, James Grimes, Hagan Thompson, Jerry Benefield.

Survivors include her husband, Max Hill; daughters, Sherry (Jim) Loyd of Rome, GA, Mitzi Leach of Clayton, GA; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Wofford and brother, Hugh Don Steele.

Mrs. Hill was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Harvey Paul and Vela Mae Kisor Steele, was a hair dresser and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family will accept flowers.
